Also acts as an   aphrodisiac, used in anxiety, depression, frigidity.

brightening mood, relieving anger and anxiety, relaxing tense muscles, to   calm and  promote restful sleep, lower high blood pressure,  an aphrodisiac.

 Contra-indications:

Ylang-ylang may irritate sensitive skin.
Do not use   on inflammatory skin conditions and dermatitis.
Ylang-ylang has a strong   aroma and may cause headaches.
